Newspaper makes milk jugs apology. Feb 8 2010 The Daily Express (p.19) has written an apology for a previous article suggesting that milk jugs could be banned in the European Union (EU), as a result of breaches of health and safety. Research on which the article was based was not commissioned by the EU, which in turn states that the containers are perfectly safe provided that they are properly cleaned.
