The FoodlineWeb suite of databases are a unique source of information for the food and drinks industry. They include Market, Science, News and Legal and are populated by our team of specialists who abstract 2,500 Science, 830 Market and 600 News records every month, taken from about 400 key industry journals, as well as books and patents. The abstracts are fully searchable and full text of most articles can be ordered on-line through our electronic document delivery service - most articles will be supplied within one working day. In case of patents, there is a link through to the original document.

FoodlineWeb now has an improved search engine. Users will have a choice of either a simple search, or a more advanced search which employs our 'smart search' functionality, allowing more detailed parameters to be set. The thesaurus has been updated and is in an easy-to-use format to help users carry out broader or more focused searches. The results pages are easier to use with a more intuitive interface - meaning fewer mouse clicks to get to the abstract details. Finally, individual users within your organisation will be able to store saved searches, set preferences and set up email alerts.

The former Market and Product databases have now been combined in Foodline Market. The own-brand area of the combined database now includes information on new products launched by the major supermarkets: photographs are also included for selected products. Further, Global Food Markets can now be accessed via the Market tab. Global Food Markets is a cost-effective resource on market information for the global processed food and drinks industry.

Foodline Legal houses Foodline Additives, covering the permitted use of food additives, and Leatherhead Food International's three online Regulatory Guides encompassing UK, EU and International legislation.

Leatherhead Food International Members get complimentary access to the past six months of Foodline Science information through Foodline Science Now, accessed via the Science tab.
